So, what is The Bootcamp
It is fully virtual, with self-guided modules, allowing you to learn at your own pace. All the concepts and terms that I use are the same ones utilized in my classes and will often apply when studying with other teachers, helping you with your overall knowledge base.
It will allow you to build a technique to prepare for any audition, whether that’s a two line co-star, a meaty guest star, or a series regular.
Script analysis modules will cover every genre of television and feature films, using examples from real, well known scripts.
Better identify the “rules” of script analysis and auditioning for each genre of project, so you know best when to “break” those rules.
A .pdf copy of the Audition Preparation Guide that pairs with the Overview module. This is the exact process I’ve developed as a working actor with over two decades in the industry.
Unlimited, lifetime access to The Bootcamp materials*.
Regardless of your current level of training and experience, where you’re located, your career aspirations, or where you currently study, The Bootcamp will elevate your audition technique, self-tape skills, and overall comprehension and comfort level with all manner of scripts and script analysis. (5 hours with me 1:1 is $1,000).
FYI-This course deals with adult themes and scripts and includes adult language.
Overview Module:
Audition Preparation Guide
Learn practical and transferable skills to dramatically improve your audition technique, including elements like The Three I's Of Vertical Movement, allowing you to have a tangible impact within the frame of your self-tape or an in person audition.
Module Three:
Multi-Cam Comedies
You'll learn about the many "rules" of comedy, including the "Rule Of 3" and the "Build And Reverse." You'll learn by reviewing three scripts from massively popular and successful multi-cam comedies, like Cheers, Friends, and Big Bang Theory.
Module Seven:
Feature Films
Using examples from the 80's, 90's, and 00's and across the genres of comedy, dramas, and action films, you'll learn about the Three Act Structure of films, as well as the importance of the first ten pages of a script. By understanding where your character appears in the arc of the script, you'll gain insight into how to prepare your audition scripts.
